FEDEX Virtual Air Cargo Policies

1. Declaration Statement

1.1 FEDEX Virtual Air Cargo (FEDEX-VAC) operates independently and is not affiliated with FEDEX, FEDEX Express, or any related entities. It is designed exclusively for flight simulation enthusiasts.

1.2 The primary objective of FEDEX-VAC is to cultivate a welcoming and professional environment where virtual pilots can indulge in their passion for flight simulation.

2. Membership

2.1 Prospective members must be aged 16 or above to be eligible for FEDEX-VAC membership.

2.2 Applicants interested in joining FEDEX-VAC must accurately complete the registration form with the required information.

2.3 All members are expected to adhere to FEDEX-VAC's code of conduct and community guidelines, including those set forth by VATSIM COC, VAMSYS policies, IVAO, and Pilot Edge rules and regulations.

2.4 Upon registration, each member will be assigned a unique identification number (FDX####), which should be used for communication with the staff.

2.5 Membership may be terminated under the following circumstances:

2.5.1 Member-initiated request.

2.5.2 Breach of policies or for reasons determined by the administrative team to be in the best interest of FEDEX-VAC and its members.

3. Activity Requirements and Flight Operations

3.1 All flights must be logged using FEDEX-VAC's designated flight tracking software, Pegasus. The Pegasus software can be downloaded from the crew dashboard under resources.

3.1.1 Members may submit a manual PIREP if necessary by filing a claim, providing evidence to support their submission.

3.2 Newly registered members are required to file at least one PIREP within the initial twenty (20) days of registration.

3.3 Following the initial PIREP, members must submit one (1) PIREP every 90 days, with a 10-day grace period. After the grace period, pilots will be deactivated, though not removed.

3.3.1 To reactivate an account, members must contact support@flyfedex-vac.org.

3.4 Members have the flexibility to fly any aircraft within FEDEX-VAC's fleet, regardless of their rank.

3.4.1 Aircraft selection must be compatible with the designated route options. For instance, if an AT-72 is not listed as an available option for the flight, members cannot select it.

3.5 While flight completion on the VATSIM network is not mandatory, it is strongly encouraged by FEDEX-VAC. When flying on the VATSIM network, members are requested to include the remark "Visit us at www.fedex-vac.org."

3.6 All members must utilize appropriate callsigns for their flights. An exception is 3.6.1. Members must fly FEDEX livery as the primary livery. Members may fly feeder liveries for the callsigns described below for routes flown by those feeders.

- FDX (FEDEX)

- MTN (MOUNTAIN)

- CFS (EMPIRE AIR)

- ABR (CONTRACT)

- FPO (FRENCH POST)

- SWT (SWIFT AIR)

- SWQ (SWIFTFLIGHT)

3.6.1 Members may use the FEDEX-VAC callsign assigned during registration.

3.7 Only FEDEX-VAC approved liveries might be flown. Members must fly FEDEX livery as the primary livery. Members may fly feeder airline liveries matching the callsigns described in 3.6 for routes flown by those feeders. A violation of this section will result in the PIREP to be denied.

3.8 PIREPs without significant incidents will be processed automatically. A list of incidents requiring manual review by staff members can be found here. Certain incidents may necessitate the pilot's commentary before manual validation.

3.9 Activities such as refueling, aircraft changes, the deliberate use of slew mode, or altering simulator rates after departure are strictly prohibited.

3.10 Pausing the simulator for more than 15 minutes is not permitted.
